Happy Wednesday Friends!

This past weekend my husband and I took a quick trip to Floyd Virginia, a really cool town hidden away in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Floyd is a vibrant culture of art, music, and outdoor adventure.

We camped along the Blue Ridge Parkway at Rocky Knob. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle and getting back to the basics.

The following morning we woke up, made tea, packed up camp and headed into town. Our first stop was Blue Ridge Yurts. These ladies hand make these beautiful yurts in their local shop. We were welcomed in to their shop and given a grand tour from the begining stages to the finished product.

After our Yurt adventure we headed into town to have lunch at a local favorite, The Floyd Country Store.

After lunch we hit the road, but not before grabbing a bottle of the local Kombucha.

Our trip was spontaneous and quick but often times those are the best ones!

~I just want to explore~
