Here is another super easy vegetarian recipe for you.
What you need :
Bag of split peas, carrots, celery, 1 onion, water, salt, pepper, and a soup bowl
Prep: You will need to rinse your split peas and remove any rocks. (I make half of the bag of split peas since it’s only my husband and I)
Chop up your celery, carrots, and onion.
In a large pot add your rinsed split peas, add the chopped veggies, and then add the water. For half of the bag of sweet peas, you would use 3 cups of water, for the whole bag you would use 6.
I cook on low for to medium heat for 2-3 hours or until the peas have dissolved along with most of the vegetables.
After it’s done I like to serve with White sharp cheddar cheese. Enjoy!!
