GRAPE PIZZA

Happy Monday Friends!

I love pizza and im always looking for vegetarian / Vegan options for pizza.

Today I am sharing my recipe for Grape Pizza (vegetarian version). You can omit the cheese for a vegan option and it still tastes amazing!

What you will need: flour (all-purpose, wheat, or gluten-free ), extra-virgin olive oil, salt, sugar, yeast, cornmeal, water, black seedless grapes, mozzarella cheese (also great with gorgonzola), crushed rosemary and a large mixing bowl.

The dough: Mix two / three cups of flour, a teaspoon of salt, a teaspoon of sugar, 1 packet of instant yeast, and a scoop (about 2 tablespoons) of cornmeal, a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil, and add the water a little bit at a time until dough forms. You can add flour as you go and or cornmeal based on the consistency.

Prep: Once the dough is mixed up and formed into a ball, cover the bowl with a towel or plastic wrap. Let it rise, in 30 min. punch the dough down. Cover it back for about an hr.

While you’re waiting for the dough to rise, cut up the black seedless grapes.

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.

Once the dough is ready: spread a small amount of olive oil on the pizza pan, spread out the dough evenly onto the pan, poke holes with a fork. Pop it in the oven until for 3-5 minutes.

Brush olive oil all over the crust, add crushed rosemary, add salt and pepper (optional), add grapes and cheese.

Pop it back in the oven for about 30 min or until cheese is completely melted and crust is golden brown.

*Cut it and Top with parmesan cheese (optional)

Enjoy!
