I’m on a new journey to prepare for a tiny living lifestyle. I’m on a mission to minimize the things that do not serve a purpose or bring me joy and Maximize what does.
As I mentioned in my last post my husband and I experienced losing everything. We had our whole U-Haul stolen along with our truck while in the process of moving. At the moment this happened I was completely devastated, and sickened by the fact that someone had stolen all my belongings including photos, wedding mementos, and other personal items. I was heartbroken! Thankfully we weren’t physically affected by the theft and was able to overcome the challenges pretty quickly with the gracious support of family and friends. It wasn’t long after this experience before I realized that all that stuff that was stolen was just that, stuff. There wasn’t anything in there that I either couldn’t replace or that I didn’t have memories of. I had my husband and our dog Cam and that’s all I needed! Ever since I have developed an interest in living with less and have learned that less is more.
My hope is to inspire people to create more, consume less, and discover that the best things in life are not things.
I encourage you to go through your home and find at-least 5 things to part with. I’ll be joining in as well………..
If it doesn’t serve a purpose and bring value or joy to your life, let it go.
